Shemmings Hathaway are a team of Construction law specialists based in the City of London. We are now offering a range of practical, tailored training around issues which frequently occur during the life cycle of construction projects, from advice at pre-contract stage though contract formation and contract administration including payment issues through to completion.Our aim is to provide practical and pragmatic advice to your team on most common forms of contract whether standard form or bespoke, all aimed at preventing conflict and disputes, as we realise that disputes should the last resort, not the first. We can also offer training on the dispute process from both sides We work with Employers, Main Contractors, Sub-Contractors, and Construction Professionals as well as Funders, Developers and Insolvency practitioners. Our standard full day format will typically include a brief overview of the contract and potential pitfalls, followed by an in-depth drill-down on the areas where your team may have common issues.
